Some were taken by Carpatho-Rusyn Society members during our recent tour, others were supplied by the Skansen in Zyndranova and still others come from the Lemko publication "Zahoroda" edited by Vladyslav Hraban.

Memorial to the Lemkos murdered at the Talerhoff concentration camp near Grac, Austria 1914-1918 Lemkos were the FIRST people to suffer the concequences of concentration camps.

Memorial to the soldiers who died in WW II. This area saw some of the bloodiest fighting of the war. In nearby Dukla pass area, some 300,000 persons perished in one battle. It is said the ground oozed blood. One can still find helmets, shells, rifles and other relics of war in the surrounding forests
